2. Is it safe to cook all types of food?
Yes. Handi with tin coating are absolutely safe and can be used for cooking all types of food. Though you may not require kalai for deep frying since fats do not react with brass.
3. When should one get the tin recoated on the glass?
Since the product is not coming directly in contact with heat, the kalai may last for year. However, ensure that you clean it properly and do not scratch the kalai while washing.
